Ok, call me silly but I just saw that Dharma has her own "donate" button over at the ASPCA and it tripped me out! That picture of her with HSMO investigator Tim Rickey is becoming a classic. It's just VERY surreal to me to be cruising the web, click on a link, and there's a picture of the dog that drools on my pillow every night and is at that moment trying to pull the sock off of my foot being used by a national campaign of a HUGE organization to solicit donations. There's also a story on the bust featuring Jakob, Fay, and Dharma. They spelled her name and Fay's incorrectly in the story though, lol! www.aspca.org/news/national/11-13-09.html#1

Amazing and surreal.....yes, I can totally see how you'd feel that way! It must also feel amazing, too, recognizing the part YOU played, and are now playing in Dharma's life and road to recovery.

That would seem very surreal! Its amazing how much she has overcome. You should feel very proud for what you are doing for that little girl.

Thank you, but I feel proud of HER. ;D She is a very special dog and has a gift for making people smile. I am amazed every day at how much Dharma LOVES people... runs right up to them, gives them kisses, wants to snuggle... after the horrific pain and abuse she has suffered by human hands. She is resilient, loving, and brave. I know she is going to bring children so much joy when she starts her work as a therapy dog.

I have two of those, and a printed online article, and then I'll add the Newsweek and Time when they come out.. Screw those Twilight fans, I'm getting a "Team Dharma" shirt made.

The popular books/movies series right now is Twilight about a girl and a clam of vampires and a pack of wolves.. anyway, Bella, the girl, basically has to choose between the vampire boy (Edward) and the werewolf boy (Jacob), and now teens (and some other age groups) across the nation are wearing gear with the slogans "Team Jacob" or "Team Edward" on them. The designs aren't consistent shop.cafepress.com/team-jacob, basically anything goes.. it's the slogan itself that is "in".

okay. personally I would chose a vampire. They are sexy, mysterious, enchanting, and an aura of excitment. The werewolf would be like dating my dog. Creepy to me. LOL
Let me check into this.... Thank you Garland for the idea.
