... She said she kept running back to the room where she left her toys to see if they are still there ;o). Probably because when she was here, if a toy was left on the floor it was fair game no matter how many there were they always wanted what the other one had. ... awwwww that's so sweet...

HI all, SO far still a happy ending. She is still behaving herself at her new home and it sounds like she will be going to a doggie daycare on Tuesdays where they specialize in pits and she can use the treadmill and learn how to pull a cart if she likes it. I'll keep you updated. Hopefully we'll visit her over x-mas vacation. Jeanine

Hi everyone, I've been quite busy but finally have a minute to let you know that a couple Sundays ago Powder came for a visit. She was so happy to see us she was literally airborne! It made my son so happy. She looked real good. Her new mommy gave Sage (my son) a framed picture of her and her collar to remember her by. She said she would bring her by anytime we want to see her. I'll try to attach a picture of Sage and Powder. Jeanine Not sure how to add the picture. I'll try to do it separate. Still can't figure it out. The img. doesn't seem to be working right

The easiest way to do a picture is to join photobucket upload picture there then copy and paste the image link onto your post. SO glad things are going good for powder really looking forward to seeing her photo with Sage.

Ok, let's see if I can get this picture on here. I forgot about the photobucket account. Jeanine Yeah, it worked! Powder was so excited the only way we could get a good picture was to have her on the couch with a good old belly rub to settle her down ;D

HI, I'm so glad that I'm able to provide good news with all the bad that is out there. And since this was the first time I did this I'm so glad it worked out the way it did. A few days ago, I was picking up my son a few blocks away when I saw 2 pitties running loose down the block. They were jumping by a car that was sitting at the stop sign, scared to move because I'm sure he didn't want to run them over. They were jumping playfully and were as happy as could be enjoying their new found freedom. My older son was in the front seat and kept a eye on them while I went in the house to get my other son. When I got back to my truck I asked my older son if they were still there. We had bowling balls and nerf guns in the back seat, so not much room, but we could make do if we needed to pick them up. We drove down the street and at this point one was on one side , the other on the other side. Neither of them had collars or tags ( My older son noticed a house on the corner had a open gate and wondered if they came from that house because they were kind of sticking around that area. He got out of the truck to go ask the home owner if these were his dogs. The two dogs ran up to my son and wanted to play in the worst way. They were such well behaved pitties and very playful. One at first was so excited he hit his body against the open door of the gate and ended up closing it before he could get in. So my son opened the gate door and they both ran in. Yep, they both lived there and the owner thanked my son. As this was going on a neighbor was outside watching, I don't know if she knew they lived there or was just afraid of them by the look on her face. She looked kind of mad that they were running around. She made no effort to help. So at least his has a happy ending and I would hope he would keep a better eye on his dogs and collar them with tags! Glad to help out the pitties once again, if only for a short time. Jeanine
