I know I am not the only one who gets my dogs special presents for Christmas and such. What are you guys getting for your pups? I need some ideas (if they already didn't have enough stuff... right) They go through toys and bones really fast.
My mom already told me that she is going to get them each a Goughnut which is really awesome of her because I have been wanting to try them out.
I will probably get them a tug a jug and maybe some special treats? I would like to get them something new to play tug with because I had to throw out the rope in a tire toy because they started eating the tire.
They both need new collars badly but I want to wait to get nice ones until I know Gauge won't grow out of it. He already chewed up Lucy's collarmania one that she got for Christmas from her "grandma" last year.

Hey I like this post....I'm glad I'm not the only one who buys chrixtmas for her hairy babies.
This year they are getting a new jacket, a new sweater and a summer tee. I scored big at Dog.com. I got 2 jackets 2 sweaters and 2 tee's for $23. They will also be getting new nylabones and new dog beds. When we make christmas dinner they also will get there own plates as well as some punkin pie for dessert. This will be Biggens first Christmas and JuneBugs 2nd Christmas. I hope Biggens enjoys it.

Great topic! My pups get Hanukkah presents this upcoming weekend... I ordered beautiful new Collar Mania collars for everyone and some new toys. I also need to get Lebowski a new sweater because he was only 6 months old last winter and has pretty much doubled in size. I'll be posting lots of pics!

My dogs need sweaters too, but I feel like all the good ones I will have to order online. Good idea.
Confession: I will probably spend more on my dogs this year than I will on anyone else, even my boyfriend. But, my boyfriend and I aren't really into getting each other gifts anyway, we usually just do something together, this year I think we are getting cell phones because believe it or not neither of us has ever had one.

I'm looking at the red velvet collars on the trendyhounds site. They will also get some chew toys and I ordered them new beds from LTD. Not sure what else. I want o find some new toys that they have to work on like the bustercubes or something. I've been wanting to get them the tug a jug but it honestly doesn't look like it would hold up to Reeds chewing. He destroys everything!.

He will also get his natural bone and a couple of other toys that he loves. You will be very happy with the Frisbee. Ours is burried in the snow): 2 of them! I will be making new beds Probably one with sides and tug toys and a couch blanket and few stuffies. I did buy a fat cat stuffie since it was cheap. Everyone in the family is getting something hand made. I learned in a stress relief class that it is a good way to relieve stress during the holidays to make things. Does not need to be elaberate. Definately getting bully sticks. ANd a Nyla bone.

Bully sticks, a new collar for Poppy, a stocking full of cheap destructibles/unstuffables, and sweaters. I also got a Kong Braidz to see how that goes.
Since Poppy is a foster dog, she'll also be getting a care package from Bama Bully, and she is very excited about that.

Nylabones, sweatshirts and jackets, and treats. The cats are getting their favorite: furry mice.
We don't have much money this year, so we are just giving them things they need anyway.

I bought a nyla bone like a month ago had to throw it in the garbage. I should have taken it back but reaction to throw it away bought it at pet smart. Rocky cracked it open in half. BIg hole and chunk missing out of it. It was this one www.petsmart.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3636638 Warning not to buy one. ROcky loved it but I guess too much. I also got one of those tug o jugs anyone have a report on how they hold up. I am sure Rocky will kill it. I think I am going to take that and exchange it for nyla bone that has been the best for Rocky this one is the best www.petsmart.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2750565 forget the galileo did not last long.

That's the exact bone (the nylaknot) that I ordered for the dogs. I often get those "big dog toys" ones. We have had excellent luck with the galileo, though. I haven't tried that new one. It sounds like the one you got was defective.

Just did my Petsmart holiday shopping tonight, and the pitties presents are wrapped for x-mas morning! ;D They each got a peanut butter edible lolipop (one with a red bone in the middle and one with a green), one gets a huge kong tennis ball material type bone (we'll see how long that lasts...hopefully a while), the other gets a rope toy that has 2 tennis balls attached to it, they got a bag of the really good chews (it's a mixed bag with chicken tenderloin strips and a buncha' other great stuff), AND one gets a turkey leg chew wrapped with chicken, and the other a turkey leg chew wrapped with sweet potato. Ken's mom sent them a couple of bones wrapped up in wrapping paper too!!! I want to say I'm forgetting something, but I think that's it for them. I did get a couple of gifts for their favorite play date partners. They will be STOCKED for a while with treats and a couple new toys (as if they didn't have enough already). This is the first year with both of them, and the first year we've gotten them presents that are wrapped up. I can't wait to see them tear through some paper!!!
