lol Marley's bark is worse than his bite!
I'd ignore the water thing, too. My dogs never drink when we're not here. As soon as we walk in the door, it's gulp time. I could leave out 10 bowls and they'd all be full when I got home.

lol Marley's bark is worse than his bite! Hopefully that is never proved! LOL! I don’t want a nippy, yappy ankle biter…I like to pretend he is mixed with St. Bernard or Newfoundland so I don’t have to admit I am an owner to a ‘Cocker Spaniel’. Or I could pretend that he is a puppy that never grows…He’s not a small dog, he is young. LOL! Something I really want to do later on is this- When someone comes up to coo and fuss over how cute he is (Being a Cocker Spaniel and all I’m going to experience this sometime or another) I want to pull him close as they approach and as they attempt to pet him say “DON’T! He is vicious” LOL! It’s going to be weird having people stare at my dog because they think it’s cute NOT because they think it’s going to eat they’re kids. Kind of unfortunate actually.

Then when people say, "What kind of dog is he?" Just say "A black one." Enough said!

LOL! I like the way you think! Will have to do! Or maybe I will be creative (He has droopy eyes) so I could come up with my own "Rare" designer breed..."Oh, him? He is my Miniature St. Bernollie (Eyes=St. B, Color=Collie). There is believed to be only 8 of them in the US!!!" LOL! I bet people would be like "Wow, really? Where did you get him? (I would say Japan, it sounds good) How much did he cost? (I believe thats private info)" I have a plan! LOL! People are so...Dumb (Says me, making up a whole story about my rare stray Cocker Spaniel mutt).

This morning Marley had a clean bill of health! Yay! ;D He was dewormed, fully vaccinated, had his anal glands popped, and heartworm tested. Everything is looking good and we are now working on gaining enough weight to have him neutered.

Thank you all. We really enjoy Marley’s company. Marley is really coming out of his shell: he has so much more energy and is ready to play anytime. And Sonya, I agree…Marley was just “meant to be”.

I wonder how quickly it will show up on Google search: Japanese Mini- St. Bernollie puppies (the asking price per pup is only $8,000...they are on sale!) Features of Japanese Mini- St. Bernollie: - Silky black fur - Bathtub-ophiles - Hanging ears - Telekenetic abilities Fears: - Loud noises - Water shortage - Unicorns from Wisconsin (blue only)

Congrats on your newest addition. I had a feeling he had found his forever home the first day you took him in!
