Wow that's funny, she likes the red ones but not the black ones. LOL The black ones are tougher and not as chewy. The puppy and senior ones are even softer. (Don't mind me, I wander the store and check out pet products when business is slow.) I have the problem that I buy what I think is a really neat toy for the dogs or cats, and they won't play with it. They like an old rag or pair of jeans tied in a knot better than a rope bone, and of course de-stuffing stuffed toys is another favorite. They seem to only like rubber toys like kongs if they have treats stuffed inside. And they like nylabones. I gave up on the holee roller and squeaky toys, and all the cats want are furry mice. Made with real fur. The faux fur ones just won't do.

Lucy has one of those. The smaller one because it's much much cheaper and easier to fling around for her. It truly is tough and that means a lot coming from me because Lucy rips apart everything, I can't even give her kongs. The only thing she can rip off is the little tag that it hangs from a hook on. ETA: she also hasn't broken any of the squeakers inside yet.

Thats freaking awesome! becuase my two litterly will tear into everything. WE got them a bunch of tennis balls last month 6 total and 2 are left because they will litterly tear the "skin" off of them. They have been real good about that cat toys they don't even touch them anymore they just sniff and walk away. We did the Jumbo ball (the small ball with in a hard big plastic ball) that last maybe 2 months the fist one and the second one we got lasted a week since they figured it out the first time it went quicker the second time SO... we will be buying them this mega ring in the near future. Thank you Tank!

Rocky got through one of those tuffies but it was a big one in the shape of a bone. However it did take a long time because it was not left out for him. but what was inside that he got out was a bunch of little metal balls which was the rattle. If the toy is indestructible like a kong Rocky has no interest in playing with it unless there is food in it. He enjoyed those wubbas made by kong but again his interest is tearing it open to get the ball out and he has been successful and this is another toy not left out however if I turn my back or forget its over. I just ordered a new toy I will report how it is. Similar to the wubba. Kong tails. Rocky enjoys tugging and this one looks it will be fun. I ordered the large it was about 12.00. Now however I am thinking I should have got medium cause I think the large is going to be big for Rocky to get his mouth around for tugging and playing fetch. Go to this website search kong tails www.healthypets.com/

Oh yeah I wanted to add I rarely buy toys these days. I have bought what I thought to be indestructible and they are in a basket never touched. And if they are semi indestructible they get destroyed to fast. Although our indestructible frisbe has lasted years and thats the Jawz UGly by hyperflite. Otherwise tugs I make my own with on sale fleece. Cut it into thick strips and braid. Probably can google directions. someone else mentioned using old jeans. I have saved a few never thought of it but Im going to give it a try. Whatever you do do not leave these fleece tugs out cause the goal is to rip pieces and eat it. Which even without leaving them out I find fragments in his poo. among other things found in the poo.

Their toys all have destruction levels. Also different shaped toys are easier than others to rip apart. I just wanted to add that. I bought a different one for her and she immediately ripped it open. The ring is the toughest I have had.

He also is obsessed with removing squeekers or anything like ears tails eyes etc. I have been considering buying another one since he is no longer seems to destroy toys as quickly.

Thank you Tank! I'm sorry, I just had to issue a warning regarding tennis balls. A friend of mine's Pit Bull choked to death on one. He had multiple balls around that he loved playing with. He tried to pick up two at once, and the first lodged in his throat. It's always a standard-issue warning from me when people mention tennis balls now, especially mutiple ones. I know a freak accident can happen with anything, but tennis balls because of their shape and size, can very easily get stuck it Pit Bull throats. Gideon's death was such a horrible, gut-wrenching tragedy and I would never want anyone else to have to go through that.

My bullies love the "Goughnuts" , they come in ring or stick and are guaranteed indestructible or they will replace! They float too-the kids never touched their kongs again after I got these. Can be linked to through the PBRC website Attachments:

I may try one but Rocky is not much for toys and if it is indestructible he wont play with it. It has to be some what destroyable. I bought him a fat cat before christmas and I cant believe the thing is still holding up especially since I have left it in the toy bin where he can get it any time. For some reason he just has not tried to totally destroy it. I think he is getting better with the stuffies with age so 5.00 fat cat lasting about 2 months is well worth it. Got it at home goods actually www.shopfatcat.com/tenascdogtoy.html

Luca's Goughnut should be here any day. I can't wait to get it and have him try it out. I don't know who gets more excited about new toys - him or me! LOL I'm just hoping this is something he can finally enjoy and have some fun with without me having to take it away from him in five minutes.
