Good idea to cut handle off rubber Jolly ball since it gets eaten within seconds. After that it stays intact. I was not impressed with the buster cube. Because Rocky gets obsessed with chewing through it and it is annoying sound. He shaves off the plastic which is proablbly form China. and the worst part is the slobber smell. Nasty! Plus food ends up under things like couch and tables when he does bat it around he gets friggen crazed! Maryellen gave me a goughnut. Rocky played with it when egged on the first night but since it has sat around. we will use it for hide and seek games he loves to play that.

I will have to try some of these toys, so far the only thing I have found to be durable enough is a cinder block....it only lasted about 2 weeks...lol

My goughnut is still fully intact. Snorts is toy obsessed and has to put a toy in his mouth when he gets excited. He, Cappy, and Phyllis all had it in their mouths at the same time. Mine really love it!

Snorts sounds like mu Chubs, life can begin AFTER I get a toy in my mouth, lol. I'm really considering a gougnut since Chubs keeps destroying the Black Kongs and I cant give him anything hard like bones because his teeth are worn and chipped (happened before me!)

I would buy a Goughnut, Sugar. If for some reason Chubs hates it, donate it to a shelter. They could use it forever! lol
I bought the green stick Gougnut and I love it. When you throw it, it bounces in 10 different directions, making it much more fun than a ball. Snorts goes apesh!t and slides all around the tile floor, and usually bangs into the wall before he gets it. He absolutely loves it. Best $30ish I ever spent.

I may try one but Rocky is not much for toys and if it is indestructible he wont play with it. It has to be some what destroyable. Jackie is the same. If it is rubbery or otherwise built to be indestructible, she wont touch it. I will have to try the fatact.

It is rubbery but hard. Rocky has no interest in it either. I use it for hide and seek game. He only goes to find it for a food reward. All he cares about is food. No interest in playing anything unless their is something food wise in it for him.

We took Yoda to PetSmart for the first time last week and they recommended the NylaBone for big dog breeds. She chomps on that pretty hard and so far it's still in one piece. I do need to file it down because it gets sharp where she chews.

Oh yeah Rocky likes the big bones by nylabone. The one with knotted ends hold up the best. As for the Gonuts we passed it on to mom's dog Aura who is not a pit bull but we believe a Jack Russell/Cattle dog she is nuts for it! Tosses it chases it. I have not found many toys Rocky is interested in. He likes the talking ball that Michele gave him. Not obsessed over it but will play with it from time to time.

Well, Andrew has now destroyed 2 of the SUPER BIG "ultra tough" tennisballs that I've bought. I tried the squeaky Kong one (and actually my lardarse stepped on it to squeak it and it burst) and then I tried a different brand which got shredded into about 100 piece tonight (he got it yesterday).
I need to try one of the nylabones... I think Andrew might actually like it. I had gotten a puppy chewy/teething toy for Valentine that is a 2D bone-shape and he loves it and hasn't yet made so much as a dent in it, so maybe indestructible is somewhere to be found. Granted, the rope knot on it was gone in about 2 days, but the rubber/gummy bone is unscathed!

I recommend the Nyla Bone big bone Knot. I also bought a really big one recently just dont know what it is called. But the Knot is the preferred and last long. I do not care for the Galileo as it shreds little bits all over and wears down fast. BTW I gave my moms dog the buster cube. Anyone know the trick to turn the inside to make difficult. It is jammed up. I think Rocky ruined it trying to obsessively chew through it.

A terrific site is HelloBully. Sales benefit a pitty rescue in Philly. In answer to the toys I found out AKC brand stuffed squeaky toys are pretty darn durable. Then as a backup you can get Kong squeaker replacements from Petsmart. Ophie still kills the squeakers sometimes or rips a seam, but I can just put in a new squeaker and sew it up again.

I have been trying to find a sight I came across a few weeks ago after Oreo destroyed a guarenteed indestructable animal. There is a red hard plastic ball with holes in it (looks like a wiffle ball on steroids). I can't find the site, but it was toys specifically for pits and rotties. They will replace the ball for life "if" the pup wrecks it. We got a "Busy Buddy" bone thing with a purple rubber ball in the middle. The ends of the bones screw off, and you put gnawhide rings on both ends and screw it closed. The bone part is like a nyla bone. 3 weeks and counting and it's still intact minus a couple small nicks on the rubber ball. They make some with bristles to help with teeth cleaning also. It was around $17... the extra packages of gnaw rings are about $9 a pack. Our dogs love it!!
