Best head collar ever. newtrix.ca/docs/ourproducts.phpIt is like a halti but the leash attaches in the back where it is not yanking on the dogs muzzle. My girls responded extremely well to it. This link did not work for me. Today I stopped at petsmart after a walk at Bear Mt. Rocky was not that bad at all on his martingale but I could use for him to be just a little better for my weak back. So thought I might try a halti. Im wondering if the head harness above is one I tried which was made by sporne. cool idea it converts to a regular collar and if they push nose part off it will be just a collar. . www.sporn.com/cgi-bin/commerce.exe?preadd=action&key=SPU I ended up not buying it because it was bulky and difficult to put on and double the price of a halti. The halti was on sale so I went with the one that has extra part attaches to collar. I am pretty sure I will probably return it but we are going to give it a try.

Listen to everybody else about training because I really have no idea...but with Ophie I discovered a Petco padded harness works for pulling and keeping her from getting out of a collar. It holds under her chest and around her back so she doesn't choke herself. If she was twenty pounds heavier it wouldn't work so well but with the harness I can pull her off her front feet if she goes wacky. And with time I've noticed she knows that I can stop her now so she doesn't pull as hard or as often anymore...if Aiden is stronger than you though the padded harness alone won't be enough.

I prefer the Gentle Leader, Danny. Still the best head collar out of the ones I've tried, IMO. Also be sure to read the second post on page 1 of this thread, for proper usage.
