....when instead of cursing when you drop food on the floor, you yell "Dogs! Treats!" and a clean floor appears.

When everyone in your town refers to you as 'The lady with the huge dog'. When after a long day you anticipate going home to be greeted by a cold nose instead of open arms (Even though both are a possibility!) When your spouse/significant other gets slightly jealous because the dog gets the last good-bye and the first āIām home! How was your day?!ā

Yes,yes and when you flop on the bed or couch and say " And how are you feeling?" and hubby tells you the headaches gone and his knees feel much better...and you know you were addressing the dog...

Hehe! I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one who comes home and first thing asks the dogs how their day was. And I ask each of them individually, LOL!

I always give Dugan a hug and kiss and tell him goodnight, but not the husband. He always says I like the dogs better that him. No comment.

Well you know what, if my husband went half as nuts when I got home as the dogs do, maybe I'd be a little nicer! lol

Half the time I don't know if Tim is talking to me or the dog, "Did you eat?" "Do you want to go to bed?" "Are you ok?" All things that could go either way...

You know you're a dog person when you bask in that worship and appreciation, when you come in the door to human kids and cats it's- Where were you? What's to eat? Referee this argument/I can't find.../Make him stop/ Can I have.../Can we go to.../If you don't feed us in the next five minutes we're eating YOU! But a Pookins greeting even if you're just coming out of the bathroom THEREYOUAREOHYOUAREBACKOHIAMSOHAPPYSHEISBACKSHEISBACKLETMELICKYOUANDLOVEYOUANDOHMWAHMWAHMWAH...no comparison
