My neighbor two doors down has a senior gr and a 1 year old or so apbt. Both dogs are always fenced in and never loose and she seems to try to train the puppy a lot. Both of these dogs belonged to grown kids of hers and she ended up with them. Yesterday afternoon my husband, son, our dogs, and myself were taking a quick nap. I was half awake and heard a ruckus. Bella and I both jumped up(poor Dugan can't hear that well.) I looked out the window and i saw a couple of kids near the back of the fence and the neighbor behind me choc lab. The neighbors with the lab were talking to the neighbor with the gr and apbt. The wife was waving her hands and looked upset. Her husband pulled her away and she came back to the fence and started again. Then the other neighbor picked up her abpt by the collar and spanked him. So shorty ther after my son and I went for a walk(just us no dogs) and the cops were at the people with the lab house. I really want to know wrhat happen, but don't want to be the nosey neighbor and I know stuff like this gets bsl issues started. No matter what I'm afraid thee apbt will be blamed. The lab doesn't have a fenced in yard, is intact, and ends up in my yard often. Whole thing just freaks me out.

Wow that is a tough one. You probably will just have to go for walks and make casual conversation on APBT owner try to casually help by talking about how beautiful the dog is. I try to make friends with people gain their respect that they get to know I know what I am talking about and then they start asking questions. How do it do this and what should I do about that. (mainly with positive training).

P.S. that works best for me because I am a non confrontational person who would never go over and say something.

I figure whichever one I see out I may ask, but I'm worried about the owner of the apbt. This was about 5:00 last night and I haven't seen the apbt or her gr since all this went down.

That's too bad =( I hope nothing too serious happened. It sucks when the fenced in, trained dogs get the blame for the loose, untrained dogs behavior. I hope things work out for your neighbor.
