Or maybe it is just more noticeable. I went to my mom's house today to run some errands for her and she lives next door to an apartment complex. This couple was sitting on the front porch while "their" child; 3 y/o at the most, and a pittie pup was playing in the middle of the street. They sat on their butts screaming at this child and puppy to get out of the street. But did they get off they rear ends to make a move and get them? NOOOOO they just kept hollering. I got out of my car and walked the child and pup out of the street. I said you need to tether both of them if you are too lazy to get off your $#% and properly watch them. I know they said something smart but I didn't catch it or even care at that point.

My neighbors up and and across the street from me have a couple young boys and a new puppy. (cattle dog around 4-6 mos) The little one likes to ride his little bike up and down the street, with his puppy following him. If I happen to be outside w/ the dogs, I have to go inside because it drives my dogs nuts. The first day this happened, the parents were chit chatting outside w/ someone... The little boy yelled at me to make my dogs stop barking at him. I told him to ride somewhere else and they wouldn't' bark at all. In the meantime the parents can see my dog Cleveland struggling to get out from the fence to get at this other dog. I personally was a bit freaked, and I had to go get a leash to haul his but inside. The entire time the little sh!t kept riding back and forth in front of my house with his puppy tagging along behind. It pissed me off. Second time it happened I yelled at the kid to get his butt home. The third time I was outside, a different, older set of boys that live next to them were outside, the puppy was off leash alone. Every time the puppy started over into my direction, they chased it back home.
I am dumbfounded at the parents. First they let 2 young (3 & 4) children outside unattended all the time. They bring home a new puppy, throw him in a small fenced area they get tired of hearing him bark, so they let him run loose. If Judy were still around I'd take him out to her place and we'd find him a new home. It's a sweet little dog, and I feel badly for it. I could call in a dog at large and have it picked up, but if he isn't claimed in a week he's put to sleep. (might be a girl, not sure) I have contacted a couple people that work cattle, so we'll see if he gets dog napped.

I wish there was a test for people to have children and animals. I am so frustrated seeing stupid parents that do not give a dang about their kids much less their pets.
