Since my daughter is away visiting her dad for the next month, I've taken a more active roll in Wrinkles day. Usually Aryn hangs out with her in her room and sleeps with her. I usually feed her, take her outside, walks to the mailbox, and up the street, and for rides, and one on one time inside.
Yesterday I took her on a longer walk, which she loved. This evening, because of impending storms, I decided not to go for the long walk, but to just walk the few minutes to my ex's house. Again, she loved the new route, enjoyed sniffing etc. She got to meet a couple new people, and my ex always enjoys babying her.
It began to rain while we were there, and finally he just gave us a ride home. When we got home she did NOT want to get out of the truck. I had to pick her butt up and remove her. Then she didn't want to go inside.
Hopefully this extra time together helps her not feel lonely. I feel bad because she doesn't have her favorite human right now!
I have a feeling she would be a very active dog if given the chance. Not so much athletic, but on the go. She loves people!
