I received an email of new changes with TDI today. At the bottom with other news was a surprise to me since this was something I had an issue with where Rocky was listed as Bull Terrier originally when I called to say it was mistake I was told he cant be listed on ID as APBT because it was not an AKC breed so accept the change as Amstaff or otherwise we will just list him as mixed breed since all of his vet records had him listed as amstaff mix and his adoption papers as Pit Bull.

So here is what it said at the bottom of the email!
OTHER NEWS TDI now registers deaf dogs

(FMI please go to our website)
TDI does not register service dogs

(People who need a service dog can test with another dog, FMI please go to our website)

TDI now uses all breed names to ID our therapy dogs

(that includes dogs which are not considered purebred)

So I guess I can now request a new card stating American Pit Bull Terrier.
