That is why I had no idea I thought BSL was prohibited in NYS however places I could have possibly moved too now since I soon wont have kids in school areas outside of some of these towns, cities are rather nice and affordable if you dont have kids in school. I would have never thought to look up towns in this state. I personally would focus here. Especially them as they and the shelters around would end up with those dogs in the long run.

just found this on The City of Newburgh police cheif website.
Violation codes 3
Pit Bulls
150-25
Whenever outside of closed premises, a pit bull shall be restrained by an adequate collar and leash and shall have a muzzle securely fixed to the animals mouth. Also, owners with a pit bull outside of closed premises shall carry an implement capable of forcing open the animal’s jaws.
In New York it is against the law to have specific laws against breeds. Although likely in this area this is targeted at thugs. But just because you live in that city does not mean you are a thug. Anyway this is not going to solve their problem.

I just posted that violation on the Sarge post letting everyone know that in my case and the admin of the Sarge page BSL is close to home. A little too close. Does not matter the reputation of that city. Its not fair to law abiding citizens who might live within that city because it is all they can afford.

Oh, and I think that Kim and AFF's real angle is that since they aren't running the Lennox show, they resent the following it has engendered. So they pretend that they are making themselves useful elsewhere.
