I actually think this is a pretty good infographic. Sure it has the "pit bull is not a breed" crap, but other than that the information is pretty good. Thoughts?

It's ok, I guess. Why did they say "Truth: Pit Bulls fatally attack more than any other breed". They also use the ole "no such breed" thing then use APBT info when it suits their purpose.

I just giggled when they showed "spot the pitbull" and the first choice was the rapper

They also use the ole "no such breed" thing then use APBT info when it suits their purpose. Yeah, that's always bothersome. I must be becoming desensitized to it because this seemed like one of the best infographics I've seen in a while, but I guess it's pretty comparable to all of the others.

I hate the Clifton Merritt derived part about pit bulls biting the most

No, it's definitely one of the better ones, I'm just being nitpicky.

Ok, I get that they're trying to educate and I do think it's a pretty good infographic, but I just can't get past them saying "there's no such breed as a pit bull" PARTICULARLY within the context of presenting myths and facts. And yes, the 'Pit Bull the rapper' thing is pretty funny.

I think I liked that it acknowledged that Pit Bulls are more popular than other breeds. I think a lot of people over look that.

And they did put the APBT at the top of the pyramid which alludes to me that someone gets it even if they aren't saying it outright. That's just me though:)

BTW, I'm trying to figure out what the hell "death by contact with hot tap water" means.

BTW, I'm trying to figure out what the hell "death by contact with hot tap water" means. Scalding to death in the bath or shower. Happens to a lot of kids.

I think I liked that it acknowledged that Pit Bulls are more popular than other breeds. I think a lot of people over look that. That's what I try to explain all the time. There are so many Pit Bulls and dogs that people will ID as Pit Bulls, that even if it was a dog lottery, Pit Bulls would win more times than most other breeds solely because there are so many of them! But no one on the "Anti-Pit" side wants to believe that could be a factor. For APBT advocates like us, the article has a few things that make us cringe. But for someone on the fence about Pit Bulls and is possibly wanting to adopt one or educate someone, then I think the article is very useful. And, I also like how it came from a Pet Med site and not a Pit rescue site, which gives it a bit more clout to the non-believers.

....I just noticed that they recommended "dogsbite.org" for more info. Not cool.

I just saw that! WTF?! See, this is what makes me nuts, it's cool when people want to educate and help out, but everyone wants to be an "expert" and if you don't even know that DogsBite.org is an insane anit-Pit Bull org, and you actually list it as a viable source of info, maybe you need to just sit down and let someone else do the work.
Sigh.
ETA: I wrote them.

I hadn't noticed that! I'll write them, as well. Egads! My scanner failed miserably on that one as well - yeah that just blew all the good they are trying to do out of the water. Sweet jeez, that's like listing the westboro baptist church as a source of "factual" info concerning gay/lesbian rights.
