Halo problem

I am having a problem Halo is terrified of skateboards. I do not know why she has never had a bad experience.
If we are out walking her she can hear them coming from blocks away. She will turn n head for home pulling n shaking. We have tried sitting with her while they pass even 15 20 mins. asure her its ok they are gone, she will still get up pull for home jump at door and up the stairs hiding the rest of the day.
It is even getting hard to get her to go outside to do bussiness. She will sit on porch looking up n down street for quit awhile making sure none are comming before going down to do bussiness. God forbid if one happens to come even on the road down the block she will run to door with bussiness folowing her jumping scratching even windows trying to get in. THEN UPSTAIRS hiding and whinning. Ifeel bad for her, any suggestions on what i can do to help her face this fear. we have tried showing her the board without people on them. no way.
We now have been taking her trail walking just so she dont come across any, but that cant be done every day and we like to walk her daily. HELP!!!!!!!

I have to run out. But in short check out the Bat book. You need to do desensitize from the distance before she freaks out and reward her from there moving closer over time. It takes a long time. You will need someone to do the skateboard and work with you unless you have them go by that often. I will post more later.
