It's going to be a slow process for me. I will soldier on through.

I'm having difficulty with posting pictures. Sometimes it doesn't work right. Why isn't it just a normal IMG code? For whatever reason it keeps deciding what it wants to go in the code without me telling it. I ended up typing the IMG code myself for Saxon's last thread because I was having such troubles.

I will have to look into that. It should be normal BBC code.

This is what it looks like: [ img src = " " alt = " " ] (without the spaces) And instead of just putting that on the page when you click the picture, a little box pulls up and it has already selected what it thinks is your picture link (for me it was my entire post) and if you delete what is in the box, it deletes it from your post, so you have to type it over again! I ended up just typing [ IMG][ /IMG] (without the spaces) for each picture because I couldn't get the picture thing to work. I liked that a lot better on the old forum.

Em and Cat, let me know if you still see these problems.

It's still doing it, Mary. Whatever I typed out as the message gets selected in the box and if I delete it to paste the image link in, it deletes my whole post. I took a screenshot and attached it below so you can see what I mean.

Cat, this is what tech support said: "Hi,
The only time you should see the text appear in the Image URL area after clicking the image button is if you had the text selected in the post before clicking the image button. Have her ensure that the message text she wrote before is not selected prior to clicking the button.
If she says that the text is not selected, can you check to see which web browser she's using please?"whenever I try to paste in a smiley (by clicking on it,), the entire post gets wiped out... Tackling this next....anyone else having this problem?

It happened to me today for the first time. I made sure my curser was visible at the end of the post, no text was selected. Could it be because my default setting is "smilys disabled" and I have to enable to use them?

Happened to me too. I also tried to add two smileys back to back and it would only insert the first one.
