Now that Kaiha can talk a mile a minute, and you can understand her 90% of the time, I've started teaching her to use commands with the dogs. Winston will do whatever she says... that's just the way Winston is. Cleveland is next on our list. We dabbled with it the other day before she got tired, and it went pretty well.
I will sit on the floor so that I'm at her level, with her right next to me, then I give the dog the command, 'sit'. Then I have her try it. If he does it for her, he gets a treat.
She absolutely thinks it's hilarious when the dogs give her '5'.
Cleveland loves to play fetch, so I will let Kai throw a toy. When he brings it back, I take it from him since he can be a shark about grabbing toys back. (working on a better leave it) Kai tells him to sit, then throws it. I think it's just as fun for her as it is the dog.
Winston doesn't play much at all, he'd rather have you pet and scratch him.
Note that I am still crating Cleveland when Kai is in a wound up mood, and when he's in a mood.
What else can I add to help build their relationship?

Will try to get some photos when one of my daughters is with me. Too hard to do it on my own and keep an eye on everything.
