That would be interesting. I attended one by the ASPCA for law enforcement and it was really well done.

"Training aids, paraphernalia and other conditioning techniques"
Flirt poles, spring poles, treadmills, break sticks, antibiotics and other medical supplies, weight pull harnesses, and all sorts of other stuff that average dog owners have!

"Training aids, paraphernalia and other conditioning techniques" Flirt poles, spring poles, treadmills, break sticks, antibiotics and other medical supplies, weight pull harnesses, and all sorts of other stuff that average dog owners have! I know, it's worth being leery of statements like that, although I'm sure it's more along the lines of taking in the whole picture. I know there is a lot of fear about being targeted if you have a breakstick or flirt pole or something, but how many average Pit Bull/bull breed owners have been busted for dog fighting when they were in fact innocent? I just don't think people like you and I would ever have to worry. This is just my evolving mindset as time has gone by.

I would like to think that it would be along the lines of like Mary stated above. I would have to imagine that if god forbid any of us who have some of the said object were "investigated" it would be a no brainer that we were not involved in criminal activity with our dogs!

I suppose so. It's still bothersome to see such things on a list of dog fighting paraphernalia.

I suppose so. It's still bothersome to see such things on a list of dog fighting paraphernalia. i understand your concern. How often it is these days when you see laws being enforced that the criteria and "evidence" is based on just a part of the whole picture. Especially now that you can become an expert based upon surfing the web for a few weeks. We also know that the so called "experts" that get consulted with and whose statement are the basis for these policies just really are NOT experts. They don't have the real experience. Throw in media induced hysteria and an out of control politically correct climate and it becomes quite easy for innocent people to become victims of a policy that appears to be just the right thing and has the backing of the general public. Sorry, didn't mean to get all political but I didn't say anything when this was first posted but this is what jumped out to me - call me paranoid and anti-govt, so be it!
