Saturday i pick up this two month old female parrotlet from Angel's breeder. Hand tame and just weaned. I rehomed the untame parakeets to a friend who has more time to work with them. She will be in a small flight cage until she gets bigger then I'll get a larger cage for her So i have to figure out a name for her.. |

Crazy bird lady status coming.  I've heard parrotlets are total clowns. Maybe wait until her character shows to name her? Can't wait to hear how things go. |

Lol! Yeah I'm gonna wait to see what her personality is like before i name her. Her breeder said she was really sweet.
And as luck would have it i also applied to a bird rescue in Columbia back in dec for a sight impaired poi, i cancelled my appt to see him due to the weather, well he is still available And needs a quiet home as he startles easily since he has calcium build ups in his eyes so i might have a 3rd lol

Thanks everyone! First night went good. I had to put her in her snuggle sack( the yellow fleece ) . Today i start bonding with her and teach her to not nibble on me if possible lol.

Day two. I roll my wrist before she bites and she stops so its working Everyone says it will work so i hope so . She is nestled in my hair right now and Angel is on my left side in my hair too |

And she is back at her breeders:( she got worse with the biting, and the breeder felt horrible so she told me to bring her back and she would give me my money back. Today i returned her and as soon as she was back she didnt bite the breeder at all.. So it just wasn't a match  |
