Lol. They are addictive but you need the time too. At least one to two hours every night for bonding.. Unless if you get untamed pairs like the parakeets i had then they dont need you. I love their personalities and chirping. I cant get any loud ones due to Rufus's noise issues so cockatiels parakeets and parrotlets is my only choice right now until he goes deaf

The time issue is my biggest issue now, so no birds. I used to have the sweetest cockatiel, she was my baby. I didnt have any other pets back then so she had all my attention plus the kids played qith her too.
