Does anyone know how Brenda Johnson got the stats for the "Off The Chain" video of 1 in 600 Pit Bulls are euth'd?

I have no idea and have been trying to find some solid stats for months with no real luck. The shelter surveys I wouldn't even rely on b/c of lack of knowledge of breeds/x's and I don't know where some of these people get these numbers from.

The bottom line is I don't think there ARE any honest to goodness reliable stats. What I've started doing is just compiling a list of numbers that I find reported in various articles or from invidual shelters, and then present those and let people draw their own conclusions.......

The only thing that I have seen is the complete opposite 1 in 600 will find a forever home, the rest are Euth'd. Google "1 in 600 Pit Bulls are euth" and see what comes up
