Although i don't have a dog yet i'm just here to learn as much as i can before i get one and also help educate people about how the APBT really is. I will definitely try to make it there.

If anyone is interested, we are having Bully Jams. :-) Yes, a concert at a local bar with Hillbilly Funk, to metal, to jazz/blues. What a combo! A past two time adopter is putting together a concert series for us for the Bullies.
We will be debuting our new t-shirt regarding dog fightin, find the pit board, and handing out educational materials.

Oh crap... I thought I posted in here a long time ago. New Hope Pit Bull Rescue will be on "rescue row" at Park Circle for Paws in The Park and hosting our annual Pit Bull Awareness Day Education and Celebration event this year (today lol). Our event runs from 10am - 3pm We'll have some of our adoptable's out with us as well as some yummy treats for sale that were generously donated by Red Barn (we love them!) as well as human goodies in the form of t-shirts and magnets. We also have a very special video slide show presentation that is a MUST see and we'll be doing a 50/50 raffle card where one lucky person could win up to $260! Each card costs $10 for a chance to win. If you're close to our area, we'd love to meet you! And everyone else who's hosting or will be attending an event today... have fun and Good Luck! ;D

UUUGGGHHHHHHH. Of all the times of the year we picked to move it had to be fall, of all the months it had to be October, and of all the days- it had to freakin be the 26th. So, today was the only day we had to move, so we could be out of the house we were renting by the 26th since we chose not to renew our lease and buy a house. Love our temporary apt., but HATE the fact that for the SECOND freaking year in a row I missed Pit Bull Awareness day in Atl b/c we had to move...AND Victoria Stillwell. I had no idea she'd be there! WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not happy about this AT ALL!!!!

Hmm...so I'm re-reading this thread, and I'm thinking I was seeing things earlier and made up the Victoria Stilwell thing (about her being in Atl for PBAD). Because I see nothing indicating that now that I'm looking through again. Sorry all...I havn't slept much and just moved all day. Forgive my dysfunctioning brain atm. But still mad I missed PBAD here in Atl again...
