I've trying desperately to publicize the following story, specifically the comments made by RSPCA Victoria President, Dr. Hugh Wirth, in which he makes many inflammatory, incorrect statements about ABPT's. I'm contacting The Real Pit Bull in the hopes that you'll see the potential for damage as gravely as I do, given this is the PRESIDENT of an ANIMAL WELFARE ORGANIZATION, who seems to be getting lots of unchallenged media time to spew this stuff all over Australia.

I so hope your organization has media contacts that can bring this outrageous situation to light, and offer proven, scientific facts to refute these urban myths and blatant breed prejudice. The fallout for the dogs living anywhere near where this stuff is being disseminated could be horrific, as TRPB is undoubtedly aware.

How awful that she is pushing for the ban. Let see what happens when they ban pits, obviously no one will think to moving to another powerful breed to raise them to be vicious. No one would ever thinkof that, right?

That's far too obvious a conclusion Just better off eliminating those horrible Pit Bulls and pretending like the real problem doesn't exist.
