Maryellen is helping me out with this. My dad was suppose to come today so the dogs could meet. Dad's ears clogged so he has to go to ent today! not going to work out. Therefore I think I am going to try to get my mom to take a ride to Petsalive see some other dogs. Just for the point of it. Fri going to be great day so My dad may come up. Then we can do a little dog walk with Lucy. Sat Maryellen will asses and talk with my mom. Big concern is her time at the shelter. About 3 years. She may not know how to behave outside the shelter world. I hate to break my moms heart as in 3 weeks she went from not that interested in her too wanting to help this dog and that she is the dog. I think my mom needs to meet other dogs. She wants Rocky. LOL But as far as I am concerned Rocky is too strong for her.

Took my mom to a sanctuary today she walked 3 dogs have 1 to look at not ready for adoption yet and I walked a pit bull named Bindi. She has a little girl in mind. Not a pit bull they have her as a jack Russell mix although I dont see much jack in her in person. Other than her jump. Attachments:

There are a few other little cuties but we could not see them yet as they are new and still in quarantine for a few more days. One has an application already.

Well in case anyone is listening its been quite a day I wont even get into it. I dont know where things are going right now. Strange Karma and it is what it is lifestyle. Anyway my mom thinking of Lucy is now over. She is moving on and still wants a dog. She is likely to get Shelly the photo posted above. As for Lucy, I will continue to hope for a good rescue to snatch her up. She will make the right person an awesome love of a dog.

Wow, this all sounds exhausting for you Carolann. Sounds like it's for the best that your mom is letting go of the idea of adopting Lucy. I really hope that girl finds the right home soon. Even the best shelters are stressful for dogs. And I can't blame your mom for wanting the Rockster!  |

It is exhausting. 10 years ago on the 9th of March my best friend he died after having what was supposedly a heart attach he died after seeming well for a week. Still good friends with his brother. I dont have siblings consider them brothers. Well last night he called his mom has fourth stage pancreatic cancer. It is so darn weird as on the way back from the shelter I was telling my mom about the jack russell she had and how it was a fireball ended up eating stuff and getting sick. she has a different little black dog now that is suppose to be an awesome dog. My friend was happy to hear my mom is looking for a dog because they were wondering what will happen to the dog. I think he should take it when the time comes he has 3 cats so what is one little dog that he thinks is great.

Last spring I had my aunt here who had the heart failure ya know the one that lost her teeth. LoL went for a physical blood pressure up had to go on meds. Took self off meds and have been doing well. Guess what have a physical next week. This week the pressure been up again. Damn this anxiety. But it is now relieved that she herself called the shelter and explained. and I feel so much better not thinking about the ways her adopting Lucy would likely end up. This dog she is looking at now I feel much better about. So much smaller. 32lbs without pit bull strength is like walking my neighbors yorkie. without the little dog attitude.
