Turns out it is not kennel cough, well as of yet. His skin is in horrible condition, and he did have an internasal bordatella at the shelter, so probably a combination of everything. Still has a good limp from his previous surgery, a lot of arthritis in his knee. He got all his vaccinations, was heartworm/lyme negative, and microchipped. He fit into his temperary foster home fine, just keeping him separate from the other dogs, seems a little pumped up and dog aggressive, but he has been in the shelter for 2 weeks! He jumped right on the sofa with the fosters little girl and laid right in her lap for kisses One of my volunteers maybe taking him for a road trip, to his final destination.... We will see how things go. Thanks again everyone for your help and support! He is a super guy and deserves this second chance! Paypal is SunraysPitBulls@aol.com Thank you again!

OK so tonight Amy second guessed her decision to help us. (someone convinced her this is NOT a good idea).....
Now I am stuck! I have this dog, that I fought for for two weeks because no one else was doing a damn thing. I have a temperary foster for him, but that is it. She was thinking a week or two tops until we figured out transport.....
So Orie is safe, but cannot stay with us. Does anyone have any smart ideas?
And if you have something to say, please say it to me, and address me with your issues. We are all adults and can make our own educated decisions.

Well they are not going to adopt him, but they are willing to be his long term foster for now.... So Orie is officially a Sunrays Pit Bull! We hope he can find a forever home, although it may be tough. Thank you all for your help and support! ;D

She was supposed to be here last week, but with the weather and such... She should be here this week.... She is a doll, her Ohio foster loves her! Very sweet, loves other dogs..... She was hit by a car, and the woman who picked her up to help her did not know better and dropped her off in a county pound with BSL. So she was going to be euthanized. I cannot wait to meet her! Everyone says how awesome she is. CA are you looking to adopt Rocky a girlfriend? hehehe ;D

well I have thought about it but if anything I think I would rather do a foster. And I have been looking for a reputable rescue that would make sure the foster is the right fit for my home. I tired to get in with Animal Farm cause they are real good at doing matches for foster homes but they said I am too far away for being able to show up there with a dog to meet with adopters. I am aprox an hour and half or more. But as you can figure I am a sucker for the white with spots.

How far are you from me? We would love to have you on board And if people are REALLY interested they come to you to meet the dog... Home checks, vet visits etc can be done in this area no problem.
