ok thank you very much i want to learn as much as i can about the breed so that i can inform as many people as i can and help better their reputation and image......i am a member on this forum as well as pitbullforum dot com and i love all the information thats available but i feel a little out of place posting a lot because i don't have my own bully yet....but you guys seem very nice

hey legacy, if you want, sunday morning a few of us are meeting at Bear Mtn in NY State to practice weight pull training with our dogs at 10:30 am in the main parking lot its $7 to park in the lot, you can come hang out with us if you want... its probably going to be 3 of us with 5 dogs, we practice for an hour or so, then we walk around the lake with the dogs.. you are more then welcome to come join us.. i responded to your post on pbf too.

oh ok.....thanx for the invite i will try my best to make it....is there a thread on here with the exact address?....i plan to go horseback riding on sunday with my gf that does work out or if we decide to go later i will definately try to make it up there.....thanks for responding on pbf

there is no thread, here are the directions..
we are usually done by 1-2pm, so you and your gf could go riding after if you decided to join us.. where are you going riding?
Directions
From the Palisades Interstate Parkway (north or south): Get off at exit 19 (Bear Mtn. Park) and take Seven Lakes Drive for 3 ½ miles to the Bear mountain Circle. At the circle, take the second right. Follow the signs to Parking Lots. If you miss exit 19, take the Parkway to the Bear Mountain Bridge Circle. At this circle, make the first right onto 9W south and go to the traffic light. Bear right and go up the hill. From the North via I-87 (NY Thruway): Take I-87 south to exit 16 (Harriman). At the traffic light turn left onto Route 32, At third light, turn left onto Route 6 east. Take Route 6 east to the Queensboro Traffic circle. At circle, make the third right onto Palisades Interstate Parkway north. Take exit 19. From the North via Route 9W: Take 9W south to the Bear Mountain Bridge Circle. At the circle, go ½ way around to Route 9W south. At the first traffic light bear right and go up the hill. From the north via I-84: Take I-84 west to the second exit after the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge (Route 9W south). Take Route 9W south about 18 miles to the Bear Mountain Bridge Circle. At the circle, go ½ way around to Route 9W south. At first traffic light, bear right and go up hill. From New York City via Palisades Interstate Parkway: Take the upper level of the George Washington Bridge. Take the very first right onto the Palisades Interstate Parkway north. Go about 42 miles to exit 19. From the South via Garden State Parkway: Take the Garden State Parkway north to the last exit (I-87/287, NY Thruway). Go east/south on I-87 to exit 13N (Palisades Interstate Parkway north). Go about 19 miles to Exit 19. From the West via Route 17 or I-84: Take Route 17 east to Exit 130A (Bear Mountain) to Route 6/Long Mountain Parkway. Take Route 6 east to the Queensboro Traffic Circle. At the circle, make the third right onto the Palisades Interstate Parkway north. Take exit 19.

omg that is not far from me!! i never heard of them, there are a ton of stables up here near me but i never heard of that one.. they dont have an actual street address, but here is their website and it has a phone number on it you could try calling the number and see if they have a actual address www.hudsonriver.com/bearmtn.htm

I bet bear mt may be a point of interest in your gps. Also btw dont rely totally on the gps as I noticed some areas of the state park the gps does not work.

we trained today, got soaked, walked, got soaked, then left.. spent 2 hours at bear mtn.. in the rain..

i didn't see that you put your # up for me to call.....i jus assumed that it would be rescheduled.....glad to see you trained today i hope everything went well.....the weather was the worst today my entire town was pretty much flooded so me making it to ny today would have been a little too much.....i hope i can make it to the next event
