Well, I finally found the artist I want to do my tattoo of my dog Krash. He did a friend of mine's dog portrait tattoos and did an amazing job. Randy Prause in Denville, NJ.

Wow! That eye is especially freaky! Looks like awesome work though!

I have a few tattoos, but my doggie paw is my favorite. We took my old family dog's paw, made him step in play dough, and traced it. Not the best method I presume! lol Can't wait to see yours!

OMG that eye is so real looking it freaks me out!! I love the first one, but I don't have any of my own (can never fully commit myself to any one design,lol)

Despite my former punk rock/riot grrrl cred, I never got a tattoo... just piercings, which I removed a long time ago. But I've been thinking a lot lately about getting a pit bull tattoo. I don't know if I could get a portrait of any of my own dogs, because I couldn't choose between them and can't fit all 6, lol! I kind of like the idea of pit bull silhouette. Something small and simple. I have a t-shirt from The Pit Bull Princess that is kind of like the iPod silhouette design... so maybe something like that.

I'm already feeling guilty about getting JUST Krash, but since he was my first I figure that is my excuse, and I'll leave it at that. Otherwise I fear I'd end up covered in nothing but Pit Bull portrait tats! LOL

A general Pit Bull tat is a good idea.

I really want my next one to be bully artwork of some kind, and I've been looking at images for years to figure out exactly where to go with it. Since i've had so many, to be fair, I actually am more looking at random dogs, so that I'm not playing favorites .
My biggest thing is that I'm so picky about color- the other two I have have little color in them, they are most black ink, just because that suits my taste better. My large tribal piece is outline only, not filled, with a Chinese symbol for "duality" that is shadded in blue. Then the piece on the top of my foot is a poison dart frog on a leaf, and the leaf is greay scale, with the frog in vibrant blue.
I have narrowed my pibble piece to one of tow images, both outta PBRC's CafePress store.

Now, I'm trying really hard to figure out what needs to be color, and what I'll leave in grey scale!

Your frog tat sounds cool - I'd love to see a pic!!! (Frogs became a sicnificant symbol for me a few years back.....)

For my Bday this year, I am getting the leaf reworked and new color added (ten years does a # on those "vibrant" inks. hehehe.

Love the PBRC designs and also getting a variation of one! I already have kanji (japanese symbols) meaning family on my lower back and will be adding a potrait of my girl Harley to it!

Garland can't wait to see how it looks after it has been re-inked.

I have a frog on one foot and a dragonfly on the other. Both are symbolic to me. I will get some pics and post them in a bit.

I've been considering having Lola and Reed's paw prints drawn up and tattooed on myself. Maybe one on each shoulder. Not sure yet. I also need a new one after my baby is born, I will be getting her name somewhere.

I think I mentioned earlier that he did AMAZING work on my friend (portrait of her dogs), and that's how I heard about him. I think he's really talented.
