I liked 28 Days Later a lot more than 28 Weeks Later. It was so artful and ended on a hopeful note. I also loved the underdog fighting back scenes, they were so triumphant and exciting! 28 Weeks Later was silly and explodey, it felt so much like every other American Blockbuster, especially the helicopter chopping scene! It was so silly! If it is a blood borne pathogen, why would you spray their blood all over the place? And the way the father followed the kids around after he was infected? There was no evidence in any other scenes or in the previous film of any such behavior!

LOVED FIDO! Plus, its not a very scary zombie movie so its good if you are just testing the zombie waters...you know, before they thrash out of the water and gnaw your ankle off

I watched Let the Right One In last night. Good movie, I really liked it! I had heard it was "boring" and dragged my feet on watching it, but it was very engaging and sucked me in right from the beginning.
My friend and I were planning on seeing Black Swan last night, but it's not playing anywhere local..... WTF. I am DYING to see that!!!!!!!!! Has anyone seen it? If you have, no spoilers, but did you like?

Balck Swan...OMG! Its so intense and leaves you a little disorientated (in the mental sense, no the physical sense like with Cloverfield or Blair Witch). I know some people said it was slow, but I thought it was both beautiful and intense. Loved it!
Recently saw Green Hornet. It was cute, a little funny but not really worth paying big bucks (wait for DVD). And especially don't see it in 3D. It was totally pointless up until the credits, and even then was "oh, look. Some names are popping out...where the hell was this during the action sequences!!"

I hate 3D and get angered when people ask me to go to the movies to spend 20 bux or whatever to see a 3D movie which ends up giving me a headache and making me crosseyed. Black Swan was great. I saw it twice already. Definitely not boring, definitely awesome, definitely disorienting, but in a good way!

I don't mind 3D when its used properly, like stuff looks like its actually coming out at you. I hate when 3D is used only to give "depth". Such a waste.
Also, saw it in theaters and just got it on BluRay: Despicable Me. so cute!

Also looking forward to seeing "The Rite" because I love exorcism flicks for some odd reason, lol.
Did anyone see "The Last Exorcism"? Thinking of renting it.

I love exorcism movies, too! Probably because that is really the only topic that scares me (and certain movies about hauntings but usually only when connected to something demonic; Oh and also movies about little kids. Because little kids are freakin' SCARY!).
The Last Exorcism was thoroughly enjoyable and totally worth watching IMO except for the ending. Watch it and let me know what you thinK!

How was 127 Hours? I think it's an amazing story, I don't think I'd be able to do it even if it would save my life. I heard that scene is pretty gruesome. Is it worth the watch?

I watch a lot of kid movies, so sorry. lol
Tangled was awesome! Laughed SO many times. Cried a tiny bit too.
Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader was very good. Of course the book was better, but what movie can you not say that about? I love how they made us dislike Eustace in the beginning and then he started slowly becoming okay.
Marmaduke- I'm usually not a big fan of the talking CGI animal movies, but I really liked this one. I know it's not a new release or anything, but I figured I'd give it props anyway since I thought it'd be really stupid which is why it took me so long to watch it. I've watched it about 3 times in the past month. lol

K. Watched Paranormal activity by myself in the dark. Delilah started barking and I screamed so loud. lol
At the very end I paused it so many times and even stopped it and got out of Netflix. It took me 10 minutes to watch the last 15 seconds and now I can't sleep. Awesome movie!
