Dog Walk for Cancer - 09/12/10
7th Annual Dog Walk for Cancer
Proceeds to benefit:
The J. Phillip Citta Regional Cancer Center and all of the Cancer Programs at Community Medical Center and local therapy dog programs.
September 12, 2010
10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Ocean County Park, Rt. 88
Lakewood, NJ
Rain date September 19, 2010 from 10 am-4pm
Lace up your sneakers, put a leash on your best friend and join us for a day of tail wagging fun for you and your entire family.
Ask your family, friends and co-workers to sponsor you and your dog.
Minimum donation: $15 per registration

I believe my mom and Elise are coming to this. It is also very close to my shore house, maybe we can think about doing a BBQ or something for dinner afterwards.

rufus and i did this walk a few years ago when he was doing therapy work, the park is really nice.

there were alot of people , but it was really hot so they didnt get the huge huge turnout they wanted.. alot of dogs /people did walk, the path was really nice and they had tables set up with water bottles for the dogs and humans on the way which was so helpful.
the park has alot of shade, so if its not that humid /hot out they will get even more people attending
therese/patch o pits usually takes her dogs, as she does therapy at the hospital there on the cancer floor.

ok rufus and i will be there helping you out at your table. we might not be there by 10, but we will be there shortly after if we arent there by 10. i just need to know where your table set up is so that we dont walk the entire park looking for you (some of the tables were set up in the beginning, some in the middle, and some at the end )
