Thanks, C! I appreciate it. It is amazing how difficult it is to find Pit Bull pups when you need 'em. LOL I wish I could steer this girl towards an adult, but she really wants a pup. As long as she wants to rescue, I can't fault her, though.

Too bad I didn't see this earlier. We just released for adoption a whole litter of blues. They went very quickly!

We took in a pregnant stray, and she rewarded us two days later.

I'm waiting to hear back from her because she went to look at a litter in Paterson yesterday, but I am assuming that if she adopted one, I would have heard by now so don't think anything came of it.

What age is she looking for? I only ask because sometimes people say puppies are less than a year, othertimes when people say puppy they are thinking like 2 months.

She wants a baby, not a teenager/young adult.

Too bad she is looking for a baby. City of Hartford ( www.petfinder.com/pet-search?animal_type=&pet_breed=&pet_age=&pet_size=&specialNeeds=&declawedPets=&children=&status=&shelter_pet_id=&internal=&contact=&name=&shelter_id=CT141&sort= ) has 6 young male pits right now. The youngest is 10 months and the oldest is 2 years . The adoption fee would only be $5 for an out of state adoption. All will be euthanized within ten days if not adopted. It's so sad. I really wish there was some way that they could change that horrible policy. I also wish there was some way I could keep myself from looking at their page all the time. It is so sad and disheartening because there is not a thing I can do. Sorry to be such a Debbie Downer. They just break my heart!

There is a little baby at the warwick shelter saw him yesterday. not in NJ but close. Not listed on their site yet. Although only saw from a distance pup was real tiny but being walked by volunteer or potential adopter.

Still looking? We have a six month old cutie coming in the next week or so. He is in a foster now, was slated for euth because of his breed of course. Waiting on vetting and such... White with black spots, super cute Kinda looks like a boy version of Patsy.
