I don't really tend to crosspost, but Chloe's story got to me. She was abused by her former owner and is now in a wonderful temporary foster home, but they aren't supposed to have an other dog and can't keep her. She is a beautiful dog and a fast learner with a great temperament. After only two days of crate training she can sleep through the night in her crate. If I was in the position to adopt right now, Chloe would be the dog for me! Here are the two write ups that I put on my Facebook. Please let me know if you or anyone you know of are interested in Chloe so I can tell her foster mom, ASAP!
Wednesday: Chloe is an adolescent female pit mix. She was abused and starved by her former owner, but is now safe with a temporary foster family. She is great with cats and dogs and has no food aggression issues. She does need a little work on potty training and basic manners, but her foster mother is working on that with her. She is not yet spayed, but is going to the vet on Thursday to get her shots and set a date for her to be spayed. She is safe and loved in her foster home, but, unfortunately, they cannot keep her for very long. If you are interested in Chloe please let me know so I can contact her foster mom right away!
Thursday: Just heard from Chloe's foster mom! Here's what she had to say about Chloe's vet visit, "Everything went well at the vet with Chloe today. She got all her shots had a negative fecal exam, and heart worm test!!!! She was skeptical when she first walked in, but warmed up to everyone real quick. I was sooo proud of her!!!! So she just needs more food, love, and training. She also needs another booster in three weeks and can't be spayed 'til ten days after that."
Chloe is the perfect dog. She is learning quickly and showing absolutely no signs of food aggression or any other kind of aggression! If you are looking for a new addition to your family, you should definitely consider Chloe!
She is in Northern New York/Middle New England, but they are willing to transport her (I'll help with transport, too, if I can).
Thanks for reading!
