This morning, Luca and Sedona sniffed noses through the crate. This is the first real contact they have made. No blow ups, no freak outs, no raised hackles or noise. Nothing.
Sedona has actually shown affiliative behaviors towards other dogs, and even met some nose to nose during a couple vet visits (you know how it goes in crowded vet offices). So far she seems to really LIKE other dogs - she gets very excited to see her reflection in the mirror, and does the wiggle dance.

i bet she will win luca over in no time..... and you as well.... and stay....... LOL I don't know about that. People seem to fall in love with her pretty easily, and with those big brown eyes, it is hard to say no to her. I think she will be an easy placement. She's excellent in the crate, is pretty much housetrained already, and she rode in the car beautifully this morning.

never say never........... things happen for a reason..... It's funny you say that. I felt very strongly about getting this dog, and two people who tend to have a "sense about things" have told me, "You got this dog for a reason....." Regardless of whether or not she stays with me, I think there are big things in store for her.

I'm still trying to get some moola your way I was at the post office, goodies in hand, when I realized I'd left the checkbook at home! *sigh* So, it'll have to wait until Monday to go out.
