I don't have new pix yet (I promise I will try to take some this weekend for our planned outing - supposed to be a little warmer). But I thought I'd post a little update.
This dog is adorable. She is silly, makes the funniest/cutest faces, and is learning how to use her cute-factor to seriously manipulate. She is super-mushy once she warms up to you (she's still shy and a little hesitant with people she doesn't know), but once she's comfortable she is a full-on, noodle-y/drape-herself-all-over-you mushy-gushy Pit Bull.
Last night on the couch, while watching TV she managed to worm her way up onto my lap, proceeded to flip over on her back and snuggle, wiggle, and wag her tail.
If someone wants a little cupcake, has the patience to deal with a shy flower, and can give her a nice, stable, low-key environment, she just may be the fairy-gremlin dog of your dreams.

Although the home I am thinking about for her she would be an only dog. How is she with others? How does she walk on lead?

She has been 100% ok with other dogs except for a little growly through-the-crate resource guarding which she hasn't exhibited in about a month. She's been ok with Luca with food bowls and treats since then.
Her leash manners are horrendous. She is not bad on a Sensation harness but on a collar she is just awful.

I wish Rocky would let me have another dog. I've passed up several that could really click because of him. Good luck with her, she sounds like a real lap crawler. I'll have to wait til I'm down to none.

I'd love to trade my big oaf of a lab in for a little pittie girl, but, I can't, I'm too attached Sedona sounds like a darling. Rhett is still a bit shy like that with people, I just wish he were more low key! He doesn't seem to have an 'off' switch!

take wooden spoon/spatula.. put peanut butter on end of spoon.. walk dog on leash with spoon in front of dogs nose so dog can lick peanut butter as dog is walking nicely and not pulling... this way dog is more interested in peanut butter at end of spoon and wont pull. spoon is long enough so that between your arm length and spoon length you dont bend over you just walk naturally holding a long wooden spoon in hand closest to dog nose...

I tried this once (I think you mentioned it to me before when Chubs was a pulling monster). Maybe I wasn't doing it right but Chubs just went from a pulling monster to a jumping-up-to-snatch-the-peanutbutterstick-monster,lol. Oh Sedona, how I wish I could just scoop you up and take you home but in my tiny apt it may just get too snug between me, a 6'2 bf and a 65lb mushball. I just know she has an extra special home just waiting for her in the future

I get that Mary. There is a dog at the shelter pulls so bad but with sensation she walks better than Rocky walks with harness on. I have not tried the PB thing. I just hold a treat near my nose and tell Rocky to watch me. I might give that a whirl. Now that he knows leave it otherwise I think he would just pull trying to get to the PB.

Sedona is too freaked when outdoors in my neighborhood to take any food, that's the prob. I've been using environmental rewards; but it's been too cold to do much work outside.

dam yeah it is way too cold out.. ask sir-wimp=-a-lot who limps when his paws get cold in the snow..... Luca does the same thing but I'm convinced it really does hurt his paws. If Sedona could just get a little bit over her generalized fear, I think she's actually going to make a super-duper good companion dog. Right now we're looking for a foster-to-adopt situation, OR a dog-savvy home who has some shy-dog expertise.

HAha another hijack. I bought Rocky boots cause sure it hurts. But you have to see him walk in them and they are way too big. I mail ordered next time I would get them locally so we can try em. ANyway has not worn them outside yet. He barks, cries, rings bell gotta go bad. I get out his coat he hides under dining room table. Then I have to coax him out get the coat on. Open the door he sticks his nose into the air and says F THAT and runs back under the dining room table. The other day it took 3 hours and several I gotta go outs before he actually went. She would make a great companion. I like the foster to adopt idea. Sure she would do well. I have to talk to some people who might be interested.

Chubby does the same thing. Barks when he has to go out. He loooves getting his sweater and coat put on but the second you open the door and he sees its less than ideal weather...he runs like mad back upstairs into his bed. lol
Oh yeah, killer badass pits right?
