AVAILABLE IN NJ: Meet Sedona! She is just the cutest, yummiest little thing. This funny, sweet, shy girl is waiting to make you laugh as she wiggles her way into your heart and arms. She loves to cuddle and would be content to sit in your arms all day long. And at 37 pounds, this pocket-size princess is lap-approved!
Sedona is one of the Ohio 200, a raid conducted by the Humane Society of the United States at the end of last summer. She is one of 200 Pit Bulls saved from a suspected animal abuser. Until she was brought into rescue by The Real Pit Bull, Inc, she lived on a chain with zero socialization. She is very shy because of her early life, but adores people once she realizes she will not be harmed. She is one of the kindest, sweetest dogs you will ever meet. There is not a mean bone in her body!
The ideal home for Sedona would be fairly low-key, childless, with perhaps another male dog (she is very dog-friendly!) Someone who has some experience with shy/unsocialized dogs, who is patient and willing to help Sedona ease into new situations in her own time would be the best fit. Sedona is not for a novice home due to her socialization/fear issues, but she is a wonderful house dog, crates like a dream, and just wants to love! Prospective homes must be willing to enroll in a positive training class with Sedona.
Pictures do NOT do this gorgeous girl justice!!! She's a must-meet.
She is up to date on shots, healthy, and spayed. Approximately 2 years old. Available through www.realpitbull.com
If you are interested in Sedona, please email: Mary@realpitbull.com for an adoption application.
NO kids, NO cats (she has not been cat-tested). Male dog ok.
