Hope I was his good luck. As I wished him luck guess he had luck of the Irish. When I took my mom to petsalive to look for dogs there was this one that I LOVED maybe it was his turtle costume in his photo but I was fortunate enough to meet him. I was told he was there for 4 years never had much interest. He is a pit bull he is black and he was used in fighting. Well the next day he had his first appointment ever. He is going home I think today. He is all over their facebook page. He was a volunteer favorite. Yay for him that I did not get a chance to volunteer and walk him. Well Scrappy only got to go for a ride today. His home check showed a broken fence with dogs peeking through on other side. People unwilling to fix the fence. So Scrappy went back.
One of the many sad post on FB
They wouldn't consider fixing or repairing the fence, even with our help. We had to accept they were absolutely not the right people.

That's too bad! I'm glad you/they did a home check. Better to find out about it now than find out when he gets out through a hole in the fence. Hopefully all of the press he got on Facebook will help him find a home, though!

Yeah they did not do a home check for my mom. I dont think they do it for all dogs. Glad they did it for him. Too bad the people would not let them help fix the fence.

Beyond silly that even if people offering to help fix their fence they still refuse! I will never understand people like that.
