You're so right Dave about pit mixes being able to shine in the right family situation, but are overlooked so often. We were actively looking for another dog for at least 6 months before Bella. There were so many dogs that we liked, but weren't a good fit for our home. Bella can be a handful and has cost us a lot with her ACL surgery, but I wouldn't trade her for the world. We were her 4th home in less than 2 years.

That shows how resilient the breed can be.
