This evening Cleveland went off to his forever home. Part of me is happy and excited for him, but a bigger part of me is really sad. He is a great dog and I loved having him in my life. He's going to a great home and will do well. Rhett will be coming to live with me for good now. I am very happy about that part. I think I'm done fostering for awhile though. My heart is weary.  |

Awww, I know the feeling. Congrats to Cleveland. Take a break, I've been on an extended fostering break LOL. I needed it, and my own animals needed it.

I'm happy that Cleveland has found a great home, but I'll miss hearing about - and seeing the results of - his adorable yet naughty antics. And I am SUPER excited for Rhett! That's awesome!!!  |

I'm so happy to hear Cleveland found a home! I will miss seeing his pictures and stories, though!! Glad to hear Rhett will be joining the family! Can't wait for his pictures and stories!

I heard from Cleveland's new mom today. He is doing good, and adjusting very well. I knew he'd adjust fine.. it's me that has the harder time! I miss my snuggle bunny! On a good note, Winston has spent a lot more time with me today. He doesn't have to worry about sharing attention for a change.
I was going to go pick up Rhett today, but I decided to wait until Friday after work so that I can spend the whole weekend with him. Also my daughter will be out of school for the summer on Friday. That means he'll have a week of not being left alone until she leaves for Fl. on the 29th.
Hopefully that helps him adjust to home life a bit better.

I'm sure you'll miss Cleveland, but once Rhett is home, you'll remember how wonderful it was to have your boy home. Have a fun week with Winston!
