We get emails all the time from ACs asking for help, but these bios below really take the cake.
Not one positive thing to be said about either dog! I guess they expect us to find foster homes when all we know about the dogs is that they bark "aggressively" at other dogs, are deathly afraid of water, were abused, have happy tail, and jump up in people's faces? We're trying to get better info, but they're scheduled to be euthanized in the next day or so.
With "advocates" like this, who needs enemies, eh?
"Zayne is a 2 yr old unaltered male (black brindle). Upon arriving at the shelter he was fine with other dogs and kids. Now that he has been here for quite some time, Zayne is starting to aggressively bark at the other dogs through the kennel walls so bad that he is hoarse at this time. He has been out face to face with other dogs and did fine on a lead but with a little work I’m sure he will be good off lead….Zaynes only major downfall is that he is deathly afraid of water, so every time you try to pick him up he thinks he is getting a bath and starts to thrash around. Also his previous owner would yell, and hit at him so he doesn’t like people raising their voices. He needs some training but all in all could be a really good dog.
Dante is a 2-3 yrs old unaltered male (white and blue). He was brought in with a female pit (Dolly) that has already found her forever home. Dante has recently split his tail open banging it against the kennel wall and it is bleeding pretty bad…we have tried to wrap it to keep the bleeding down but he just pulls it off. Dante and Dolly were surrendered to us because the owners daughter had allergies to both of them. He needs some obedience training for he likes to jump up in people’s faces but with a little work can be fixed…..We have never had him out with other dogs (male or female) but with a proper introduction he might be fine."
