Hi,
If anyone can foster a beautiful sweet mom with her 14 babies for 8 weeks and you live in central Jersey, please let me know. She is at a vet's office and safe but needs a place to go.
Thank you

Hi Vicky, what rescue are you working with? Why specifically 8 weeks?
14 babies....yikes. That's a big litter. Is she nursing them all?

Also, does the person have to foster all 15 of them?

Maybe, I think it would be easier to get the thumbs up from my grandparents if they saw a cute little puppy. lol

Sounds like the pups are still young and probably need to stay with mom. VERY important at this age. Also hope they won't go from weaned to adopted. This is one of the few instances were I give a thumbs up to rescuing/fosting pups - when they come with a mom and littermates.
That's a whooooooole lotta puppehs, though.

Title says born 8/9. They are one day old. These pups will undoubtedly need supplemental feedings.

Hi Everyone,
The babies can't be taken away from the mom for at least 8 weeks. She may need supplemental feedings also. I'm sure Terry from the rescue will find out more from the vet over the next few days. Her rescue is called Leap of Faith and she is a wonderful person for taking all from a shelter that wouldn't care for them like they should be taken care of at their age. This is why we are looking for a foster for all of them for 8 weeks and then the babies can be split between foster homes. The mom is doing most of the work and everyone is quiet and will be till the eyes open and they start moving around. Then whoever fosters, will have their hands full. It will be a bi job but I'm sure there is someone out there who can help. If you are interested in fostering, please contact Terry at 609-240-9488. The mom is sweet and babies are adorable.
Thanks for caring,
Vicky

Our pup was from a litter of 13, as was her mother. I kept joking and telling my friend that the dog looked like a clown car while giving birth. I hope you find someone to foster all of them!

Hi,
Out of 14 pups there are only 10 that are alive. The mother has possible parvo or the herpes virus. The vet and techs are doing everything for them but they need antibiotics. They have been in the vets office since they day there were born and financially, the rescue is strapped. If anyone can help, please contact me.
Anything you can offer, even 5 dollars will help.
Vicky

Sounds like same story but the vet office address for donations is in Arizona.

I didn't notice that. Maybe it's not the same dog, which makes it even more tragic.
