I have a 9 year old male pit bull that I have had for the past 9 years since he was 8 weeks old. I need to find a new home for him as I have 2 small children and another on the way and it is getting very difficult to care for him. I live on the 3rd floor and walking down the stairs with the kids and the dog is getting harder and harder each day. I hate to get rid of him because he really is my baby. But it seems I have no choice... He is great with animals and he is absolutely wonderful with kids. He can got o any kind of home.. Even though he is 9 years old, alot of people ask me if he is only 9 months old. He is very well taken care of. He is neutered, up to date on shots... He loves the dog park... he loves being around people.. He is just a people dog... I have time to part with him. I am not looking to just give him to anyone. I need to know that they would be the right person for him and take care of him. This breaks my heart, but it's just too hard for me to handle...
This is a real ad.. Please do not send me stuff on how cruel I am or anything and don't waste my time... This is very hard for me as I have to explain to my 9 year old why I had to get rid of his doggy brother...

This is disgusting. The worst part is the dumb excuse. It's almost always a dumb excuse. Like the guy the other day who emailed me wanting to dump his dog for losing his homeowners insurance. I offered to direct him to other resources. No response of course.
