This one breaks my heart. Mom looks so old and sad. Her 10 pups are Parvo positive and the organization is running out of supplies. If you can help in any way, please do.

August 17th we received a call from another rescue asking if we could help a mom and her nine 2.5 week old babies. Some of the babies were lethargic and had diarrhea, already showing signs of parvo. We have no room so we had to say no. They called back an hour later stating the puppies are dying and the foster didn't know how to administer the subq fluids and they had no antibiotics. Come to find out...we knew this mom dog they were calling about. I met her 4 weeks ago when she was in the shelter. I could tell this girl has had a very rough life and has been so very over bred and neglected. Once I heard this was the mom and litter, we couldn't say no. With no other option, we cleared a spot in our garage, bought a portable AC unit and got everything ready for this sick family of 10 to come to our home. Two of the puppies were critical the minute they arrived, they were the first two we treated. Within 4 hours all the others had bloody diarrhea. For the last 42 hours we have been taking shifts giving fluids, medicating, weighing, taking temps & disinfecting. I have NEVER seen so much bloody diarrhea!!!
Mom is very sick. She can't keep anything down, including water. We did a snap parvo test and it confirmed strong parvo positive but we are sure mom has more than just parvo because she is not getting better with treatment. Thankfully our wonderful vet Dr. Lindgren at Ironwood is checking mom out right now. Jason ran her to the vet and they will do an exam in the truck so we don't infect any other animals. She will also be tested for parasites and worms and we will get her medication for her terrible untreated eye infection.
Our supplies have dwindled down quickly and we are in desperate need of puppy pee pads, syringes, subq fluid, needles, D128 (cleaning agent we use), paper towels, disposable gloves, & bleach.
And mom's vet visit today was $125. I know this isn't alot of money but our vet bill at just this one vet is at $1500.
The above donations are desperately needed. If anyone would like to make a cash donation, it can be make via paypal @ helpingorphanedhounds@gmail.com or directly to the vet.
