and my obsession.... can someone explain why the leader of the "they're all individuals; there's no such thing as breed characteristics" is highlighting "pit bulls" who pass the CGC test... as if it means something about those dogs in general? come on! you can't have it both ways: either dogs pass individually or not, and it says nothing about their "breed" or "type". Or APBTs/ASTs pass at higher rates than other breeds because it DOES mean something and you can brag about it as good PR. (personally, I think it's great that people are training their dog for the test, but at this point, few people take the test without practicing and being pretty sure their dog will pass... and it means NOTHING about the APBT/AST. Well, maybe other than their owners want them to be good)
