I was about to start to read The Loom of Good. Don't worry. It's not about god. It's about numbers, the only unquestionably infinite and eternal objects in the universe.

Anyone have any book recommendations? I just finished The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath, I'm currently reading Unsaid by Neil Abramson, and after that I have On the Road by Kerouac lined up. But after that, I'll need some new fiction. I have about a week or so before I'll need a new book. ;D
So, anyone read anything good lately?

I'm reading Anne Rice's latest, Wolf Gift. I've been excited about it, hopefully it lives up to expectations! Melonie, care to review? I picked this book up in Barnes and Noble the other day then decided to wait for paperback or library.

Gone Girl was really good!
I'm reading the newest release in the October Daye series by Seanan McGuire. It's a mystery series, but with faeries. Not cute faeries, crazy scary mean ones. It's really really well written and will keep you reading all night to find out what happens.

Black Dagger Brotherhood trumps 50. 50 is for 20 yr olds lol BDB is for real adults. *lol* It's a real story and not fluff... I did like 50, but... Sylvia Day wrote a book called Bared To You. It's similar, but a better over all written book. The second one has just been released, but I haven't gotten around to it yet.
I'm currently listening to Time Untime - Sherilyn Kenyon, reading Vampire Assassin League 1-4 bundle - Jackie Ivie,(short novellas that aren't very note worthy) and Blood Bath & Beyond - Michelle Rowan, (been there, done that, and a bit boring) and Body Movers - Stephanie Bond (I do like this one a lot actually) I'm in an ADD streak right now. The only one to keep my attention is Time Untime, which is very good. I'll likely go buy the print version and read it.
Wolf Gift is good. It is very much an Anne Rice book, lots of depth to the scene, and an angsty lead. She is my fav author so I am probably biased. But I do like her take on the whole Lycan/werewolf genre.
I have lots of ebooks I can share, just send me a msg.

Melonie, thanks for the offer. I'm going to take you up on that!
I'm almost done with Unsaid. I think a lot of people here would enjoy this book. I loved it.
"In this explosive debut novel, Neil Abramson explores the beauty and redemptive power of human-animal relationships and the true meaning of communication in all of its diverse forms.
As a veterinarian, Helena was required to choose when to end the lives of the terminally ill animals in her care. Now that she has died, she is afraid to face them and finally admit to herself that her thirty-seven years of life were meaningless, error-ridden, and forgettable. So Helena lingers, a silent observer haunted by the life she left behind-her shattered attorney husband, David; her houseful of damaged but beloved animals; and her final project, Cindy, a chimpanzee trained to use sign language who may be able to unlock the mysteries of animal communication and consciousness.
When Cindy is scheduled for a research experiment that will undoubtedly take her life, David must call upon everything he has learned from Helena to save her. In the explosive courtroom drama that follows, all the threads of Helena's life entwine and tear as Helena and David confront their mistakes, grief, and loss and discover what it really means to be human."
