Just made this at a free art class last monday. Bring your own ideas and create. My mom came up with the collage idea and I cut out from some magazines someone gave me. I plan to make more but more focus on one dog. LOL. This is a print I bought at a antique shop going out of business. There is a story with this. The Antique store was originally in key west across the street from the building in the print. The building is a restaurant called the Blue Moon. The dog's name is Petey and he was the friendliest dog known to man. He was owned by a man that lived in an apt within the Blue Moon. The child is the owner of The Blue Moon's son. I understand dogs are welcomed in the restaurants down there and often do roam without problems. Very laid back. I have never been to Key West and have been longing to go. Unfortunately the reason I may actually end up getting there is not for a good reason. But to see someone for the last time before they leave this earth is likely why I will get there. Here is my first piece of Art that I ever bought which I did get cheap as it was a going out of business sale frame and all. It was also signed by the artist in 1999. Dont worry including a closeup of the dog. sorry for full size is a bit blurred.
