ahimsadogtraining.com/store/proddetail.php?prod=MCH-0167I haven't read this book yet, waiting to purchase it, but I highly recommend the Behavior Adjustment Training (BAT) protocol. Even if you don't have a reactive dog, it's good to understand the methodology of BAT as a preemptive measure against reactivity which is so, so common in Pit Bulls. This is the unofficial aggression/reactivity protocol of RPB and something we will be utilizing more this upcoming year, hopefully. Our foster and adoptive homes will be schooled in this protocol, as well.

BTW Mary what else could you recommend for me to read for the upcoming program. I will not be having other dogs there. Just a lecture and Rocky to demonstrate with. I want to go back to basics but it has been a long time. And I want to try to get the library to buy some good training books to over run their Cesar collection. Then maybe have a CGC test over the summer.

Thanks Mary. I also found some videos and lesson plans on AFF's website. They might be useful. I am going to try to get library to order some of the books you have listed.
