Are they based out of Tucson Az? No, I think he's in CT now. He was run out of hmm was it NY? And moved the operation to CT. Maybe Maryellen or someone else with a better memory can correct me if I'm wrong. |

CA...now that you mention it I think you are right...he is in NY. I thought it was NY...CT...now back to NY...but I don't what he is doing these days!

he was in CT, then he movd to his parents in ny state, then built his own mansion in clarence ny.. he is in clarence ny now

I got sucked in last year and was on the forum a lot. I thought that they were a great organization until I read about various incidents online. Even after reading everything I stayed on the forum for a while, until something really disturbing happened and I left.
They had one dog that was 4 or 5 months old and being fostered by one of the forum members. She was really beautiful and sweet. The person had two or three other Pit Bulls and left them all in the backyard for a short time. When she came back there was blood all over the dogs and the little foster dog was lying on the ground surrounded by blood. The other two dogs were just wandering around the yard like nothing happened. The little pup had to be PTS because of her injuries. It was a very sad situation, but I these things do happen if you leave dogs unattended. What was really disturbing about it, though, was that after she was PTS, rather than taking down her Petfinder page or write RIP or something, he wrote on the page that she had been Adopted... It sickened me and I left the forum.

all bad info can be found on pitbulltalk.com forum, they have pages and pages of stuff about him on there,one of the headings is The truth about Lila.. members that used to be in erics forum/rescue that got kicked out for questioning his methods all told incidents that happened... when ACO was called to his CT apt he found out ahead of time as one of the ACO's told him ahead of time so he was able to get rid of the dogs he had there. when he was living with his parents ACO came , and his father and him told the ACO if you dont have a warrant we wont let you in- he had a ton of dogs in crates in his parents basement, and when aco left he scrambled to get rid of all the dogs in the basement... no one can get him in trouble because he has people on the aco and all over that believe he is god and warn him ahead of time.
trust me, his cronies will be here to defend him should this topic stay up... they always do that, once word gets out that he is being talked about on another forum his cronies join and then try to say how wonderful he is..he threatens people to keep quiet and it works for some reason

anytime something bad happens to the foster dogs they say they were adopted.. they never post the tragedies or put on petfinder the dogs died

Ah yeah Pitbulltalk. I think that was where they found me and when I went back to SPB forum I was questioned and told they knew I was lurking and not writing and wanted to know why I was lurking. It was uncomfortable and I left for good. I cant remember the dog it was about on pitbulltalk but i had posted some comments not knowing at the time it was a former SPBR dog. I almost felt threatened by the forum member I think maybe was his girlfriend or something.

Wow, Cat that is sickening. I guess I never really knew anything (good or bad) about SPBR. I might have to do a little googling.
