Great news! Lilly is doing really well in her new home! Not sure if I mentioned it before, but the couples landlord is a friend of mine, (Cindy) and lives next door to them. I have an 'extra' set of eyes so to speak. But I really don't need them. Lilly won over their hearts, and has made herself comfortable in their home and yard. Cindy has 2 dogs of her own, all Standard Poodles. Hudson is the "baby" at 2yrs old. He and Lilly play and run and have a good time together. Cindy's grandkids also love Lilly and now ask if she can come over to play. I did mention to Cindy to make sure there are no treats or toys to argue over, but she was already on that, thanks to the new owners Her potty issues are over, and in a few weeks she will be getting fixed. The vet said to wait at least 6 weeks or longer as she won't go into heat again for awhile, and this way the hormones will level out before hand. Lilly is doing good with the rabbit. She wants to play with it but she isn't allowed to. She is also doing a lot better on her recall and manners. I think being the only dog is doing her a lot of good. Having a dog to play with right next door helps keep her happy too I guess. I'm so glad she went to this couple. Cindy is going to dog sit her this weekend and is going to try and get some photos of Lilly & Hudson being clowns. Will share if I get any!
