Just observing tonight... Sedona is very frisky tonight. She won't leave me alone; she keeps nibbling and corncobbing me, I tell her to stop, I don't like teeth on me. I don't think she understands. The "Ouch!" works. ;D She grabs a bone and throws it around, then notices Lola lying in her crate watching me. Sedona leaps off the sofa and bangs into the crate right in Lola's face, playbows, tail CRAZY wagging, whining, rubs the crate, licks Lola's nose through the bars. Lola absolutely ignores her and stares at me. Like Sedona doesn't exist, looking right through her. Truly chilling... Rocky loves to lick Lola's head. It puts him in a trance sometimes. He's doing it now. The sound drives me nuts. I don't believe I've ever seen Lola smile. Rocky does. Sedona does. Every dog I've had smiled. Buster seemed to actually laugh. Not the Queen B. I wonder why not. ??? The word "outside" has exact opposite effects on Sedona and the other two. I only have to whisper it, R&L run to the door, Sedona runs for the crate. When Lola gets ready for bed, she climbs onto her pillow and curls up. Rocky turns wobbly circles, lies down, gets up, lies down, gets up, lies down, gets up, I yell, he lies down. Sedona has a ritual, but it changes often. Is that really a ritual, then? Yay! Zoomies in the yard! Boo, it ended badly. Sedona has a couple abrasions. Pavement is so unforgiving. Playtime often ends like that. But she's a trooper... she's nibbling me, and bouncing off the sofa again. An evening in the life...

So sweet, all of them. Ophie has gotten to where I don't even have to say the "W" word. If I'm in the upstairs hall in jacket and sneaks at a certain time of night she barks and zoomies all over the house knowing it's time for freedom!!!!!!

Definitly, sometimes you just can't help but laugh!
I'm reading this just after our own bundle of energy finally decided to calm down for the night.
Took Maxine for a little over two mile walk tonight, which is a little longer then what we normally take her for in the evening.
After going all through downtown and along the river ,we get back and no more then five minutes later Maxine has her tennis ball in mouth and is happly doing backflips and jumps while the tired human's can barely toss the ball for her.
