Helen Keller's Dog

Yeah, I have to update the RPB history pages, particularly the mention of Helen Keller's dog which I cannot call a Pit Bull. Her dog looks like a Boston. Very similar to Stubby, actually.

THIS is the only other pic I could find of Helen Keller with a dog that may or may not be a Pit Bull. The Boston Phiz (pictured above) is the dog I most often see referred to as "Helen Keller's Pit Bull" - which he obviously is not).

I think I've seen one of her with a dog that looks a lot like a boxer, too.
"Helen Keller's dogs" would make a GREAT article for The Bark or some magazine like that. There are so many photos of her with dogs, she must have had many and surely she wrote about them

Yes from what I've read, she was a dog lover and had quite a few dogs.

The first one I definitely agree is a Boston, but the second one I've always thought was a Pit Bull.

I have mostly seen this photo and myself always thought it looked like a pit bull. BTW I just added some info to the Stubby thread the other day as with doing research for war dogs I wanted to revisit that thread.

See, I don't really think it does. Looks like a mix. And the dog's got Dobe paws ;D
