Well, today Jackie has been with us for one whole year. Boy did it go so fast!
Taking a look back...
She's come a long way in that year with issues, training and growing. She's been a nervous dog since we got her and seems to me she's a little more nervous as she gets older.
We really can't get over how last Turkey day we couldn't leave her alone and now we can go out for the day and she's ok.
On the other hand we've done a lot with training and the results are "just ok"...she's full of energy and still has really bad greeting skills.
She's a big dork and a misfit with lots of quirks, but i think that's why she fits so well with us!
we've gotten her into flyball and she seems to really be having fun. we'll probably not go into competition but just do it for learning.
PS...for those that have followed over the year...you'll be happy to know that Jackie is now a sofa queen. Dana has pulled me over to the dark side. She lays on top of us on the couch...which is mildly painful at time for a 60lb dog.
